TAMPA/PINELLAS PARK
The Gujarati Samaj of Tampa Bay will celebrate Navratri on Oct. 16, Oct. 23-24, and Oct. 31 at the USF Sun Dome, 4202 E. Fowler Ave., Tampa. The Samir Date and Dipalee Somaiya group and Khelaiya Group will perform. Beginning at 8 p.m., the event is free for Samaj members; seniors and students are $10 and adults are $15. Miss India Florida Pageant Oct. 3-4, 2015, in Tampa

The Miss India Florida Pageant is back again and bigger than ever. This year’s pageant will be a red carpet event with celebrities, and Indian women representing their heritage, culture and Florida for the largest international ethnic pageant: Miss India Worldwide. With the addition of Mrs. and Miss Teen, the pageant promises to be an entertaining event, hosted at the University of South Florida in Tampa.
